Grab your guitar or lawn chair, shut the front door, and join us on porches throughout downtown Guilford for Guilford Porchfest 2024!

Guilford Porchfest 2024 is a free community-building event celebrating the musical talent and creativity of those who live or work in Guilford, Connecticut: young to old, novice to professional, singers, instrumentalists…and everyone in between! The event will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from noon to 5 pm, on porches in the heart of downtown Guilford, CT (rain date: September 8). All Guilford Porchfest solo performers or at least one member of any duo or group must live or work in Guilford, and all porches will be “donated” for the day by Guilford residents. All performances will be free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by Guilford Savings Bank, The Guilford Foundation, Shoreline Arts Alliance, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, GreenStage Guilford Live Arts, and Guilford Insurance.

Interested in sharing your musical talent and creativity? If you are a solo performer and live or work in Guilford, you are invited to sign up today through July 31! Interested in hosting? Guilford Porchfest is looking for hosts within a 10-minute walk of the Guilford Green on the south side of Route 1, so that the event is walkable for attendees, and will be giving preference to those potential hosts who have a rain plan in place, since they have no control over the weather! Hosts will be selected based on location, proximity to other hosts, number of performers, times of availability, porch space, etc. Host applications will be accepted through July 31 and decisions will be made in early August.
