Shoreline Arts Alliance’s IMAGES, Connecticut’s Oldest Photography Competition and Exhibition, will be open and on view for the public from August 3-25

Shoreline Arts Alliance is proud to present its 44th annual IMAGES Photography Competition and Exhibition, Connecticut’s Oldest State-Wide Photography Competition and Exhibition at the Kehler Liddell Gallery, 873 Whalley Avenue in New Haven. The show will open with a reception on Saturday, August 3 from 2-4 PM. The show runs through August 25 with gallery hours from noon – 4 PM every Thursday-Sunday. The exhibition features works by Connecticut based photographers that were selected by three professional judges.
Shoreline Arts Alliance will host a Galllery Talk with juror, Morgan Post on August 18 at 2 PM and a Poetry in the Gallery Event on August 24 at 2 PM. Poets will read their work based upon photos in this year’s show. More information can be found on the Shoreline Arts Alliance website.
IMAGES is a jury curated photography competition that was first started by Shoreline Arts Alliance in 1981 and is currently the oldest Photography competition and exhibition in the state of Connecticut. IMAGES is open to all Connecticut based photographers of all skill levels and is dedicated to encouraging, engaging, and educating new and experienced artists.
